I tried Nissin's 'Black Chicken Ramen' with its black and spicy soup.
Nissin Foods will be releasing four new 'black' products in conjunction with Black Friday from Monday, November 10, 2025. I was offered one of them, ' Black Chicken Ramen ,' so I tried it a little early.

The packaging for 'Black Chicken Ramen' is black, with a chick on it threateningly saying, 'Only available for a limited time, you bastard.'
At the bottom of the bag there is a message that isn't even in English: 'Kuroi Su-pu No Chicken Ramen Since 2025.'
The raw material names look like this, and in addition to the spice seasonings contained in the noodles, spices, curry powder, squid ink powder, etc. are used in the soup.
One serving of 90g contains 405kcal.
Here's how to make it.
When you open it, you will find powdered soup in addition to the noodles.
If desired, place a raw egg into the egg pocket, add the powdered soup, and pour in hot water.
After putting the lid on and waiting for 3 minutes, it looks like this. The soup powder hasn't completely dissolved yet, so it's still clear.
Mix thoroughly and it's done. I never thought that just the black color of Chicken Ramen soup would be so strange.
It's called 'Spice Curry Flavor,' and when you try it, you'll be hit with a very fragrant spice flavor. It's not 'slightly sweet' like Cup Noodle Curry, but it's not burning hot or painfully spicy, and has a mild spice spiciness that makes it very easy to eat.
