Apple revamps the look of the web version of the App Store, allowing you to quickly search for apps for iPhone and macOS on your PC browser

Apple has revamped the user interface for the App Store web app. The new App Store web app has a modern look for the search screen and the details screen for each app.

Clicking the link above on your PC browser will take you to the web version of the App Store. Here's what the screen looks like when accessed using Windows Edge. The Today page, which lists apps for iPhone, appears.

The apps are categorized by category, which you can select from the sidebar on the left. Clicking on 'Games' will take you to a page that lists only game apps.

Game categories are divided into detailed categories such as action and racing. Click on 'Action' to try it out.

The summary page for action games is displayed. The selected apps are displayed large at the top of the screen, with free and paid apps lined up below.

The search bar is located in the upper left corner of the screen. There is no search button; instead, you enter a keyword and press Enter to search. This time, we will search for the word 'youtube.'

Search results are displayed in card format. Click on the app you want to see more details about.

The details screen for each app looks something like this.

There are explanatory videos and images for the app.

At the bottom, details of the data collected and developer information are provided.

Scrolling further down, apps from the same developer and related apps are displayed.

The web version of the App Store has separate pages for each supported device, and by default it displays apps for iPhone. Click the '∨' in the upper left corner of the screen to select the supported device: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision, Watch, or TV.

The App Store for Mac looks like this. The operation method is the same as the App Store for iPhone.
