On October 30, 2025 local time, Apple announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025.

Total sales: $102.5 billion (approximately ¥15.76 trillion): 8% increase from the same period last year
Net income: $27.5 billion (approximately ¥4.23 trillion): 87% increase from the same period last year
Gross profit margin: 47.2% (up 1% year-on-year)

The reason for the 87% increase in net profit compared to the same period last year is that Apple was subject to additional taxation from the EU in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024, resulting in an income tax burden of $10.2 billion (approximately 1.57 trillion yen).
