Nothing, a smartphone brand launched in 2020, has a 'Phone' series that features a futuristic design with a transparent back and LED displays, as well as its proprietary Nothing OS, which has fewer pre-installed apps than typical Android smartphones. Nothing has announced the launch of its entry-level Phone (3a) Lite, a new model in its Phone series. Nothing offers smartphones and headphones under its low-cost sub-brand CMF, but the Phone (3a) Lite is the first entry-level smartphone in the Phone series.
Below is the appearance of the Phone (3a) Lite. The phone features a transparent glass back, a hallmark of the Phone series, with a notification light at the bottom right. While previous Phone series models have multiple LED lights called 'Glyphs' placed within a transparent panel on the back, the Phone (3a) Lite features only a single LED at the bottom of the back, maintaining the brand's distinctive look while keeping costs down. While the back of the phone has a removable cover-like design, Nothing Senior Global PR Manager Lewis Hopkins explained that this is 'a replica of the battery design,' and it's not something that can be easily removed and replaced.
The main specifications of the Phone (3a) Lite are as follows:
