The first Nauruya agency store, where you can take photos with Nauru-kun panels and stuffed toys, is a lacquerware shop in Tokushima that also handles yusan boxes.

Urushi Kura Ichikawa is located here. Head southeast through Higashi-Shinmachi Arcade, which passes in front of ufotable CINEMA and Animate Tokushima, and you'll find it where the arcade splits into two.
Lacquerware Warehouse Ichikawa describes itself as a 'store that reproduces Yusanbako (outing boxes).' Yusanbako are children's lunch boxes made of stacked lacquered boxes, and as the name suggests, they are meant for 'outing.' A unique part of Tokushima culture, it was once lost around 1975 , but in recent years there has been a movement to revive it.

Outside the store, Machi★Asobi and Halloween decorations were on display.

Among them, we found 'Nauru-kun,' the official mascot of Nauru, which stands out in a different way from Halloween. As the sign 'Nauruya Kagoyamachi Branch Office' suggests, Urushigura Ichikawa is the first agency for 'Nauruya,' an official Nauru goods store.

There was also a panel of Tokushima's local virtual character,

There was a photo spot set up inside the store where you could take pictures of the stuffed toys and Nauru-kun with the play box and other items.

The Naurus are multiplying. There is also one Nauru that is smiling.

There was also a Nauru-kun panel where you could take a photo with your stuffed animal sticking its face out of Nauru-kun's body(?).

If you didn't bring a stuffed animal, you can take a commemorative photo with a large Nauru-kun panel, which was provided by volunteers.

Some of the merchandise was sold out.

When we spoke to them, we learned that in the past, whenever Machi★Asobi was held, people would come as far as Corne Fountain Square, where the arcade just before the store splits into two, but few would go any further than that and come to the store, so they had been thinking about what they could do while they were there, which led to this current initiative.
The store is open from 11:00 to 18:00, and Nauru goods will be available for purchase even after the Machi★Asobi period.
Thank you for your question!

Yes, you can still purchase Nauruan merchandise even after Machi Asobi is over. We plan to gradually replenish stock, so we will make an announcement as soon as it arrives. Thank you for your continued support.
