·postscript
The results of the Itasha Grand Prix were announced at the closing ceremony of Machi★Asobi Vol. 29. The Animate Award went to Hirokappa's 'Strike Witches' Eila & Sanya itasha, the Azur Lane Award went to Tenkuu no Ossan's 'Gintama' moped and Yorozuya car, the FelixFilm Award went to a Subaru Impreza from 'Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World,' and the Grand Prix went to Hoyuki's 'Demon Slayer: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' Rengoku itasha. While there was no Azur Lane itasha for the Azur Lane Award, it seems the Gintama itasha was chosen due to the collaboration between Mahjong Soul, also run by Yostar, and Gintama. Hirokappa received an assortment of anime merchandise, Tenkuu no Ossan a figurine, the owner of the 'Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World' itasha received a radio-controlled car, and the Grand Prix winner, Hoyuki, received a trophy.
Finally, this isn't a 'itasha' (painful car), but it's the Toyota Hachiroku that was used to record the engine exhaust sound in the first episode of the TV anime 'MF Ghost.' It was on display at the Machi★Asobi venue in Aibahama Park.
