At Machi★Asobi, numerous booths will be set up around Tokushima Station where people can hear talks about anime production and even

try their hand at it . At Machi★Asobi Vol. 29 , Wacom and ZOTAC collaborated to demonstrate how they could combine a high-performance mini PC with an LCD pen tablet to create a space-saving digital drawing environment.

I found a joint booth of Wacom and ZOTAC in the Higashi-Shinmachi shopping arcade, where a row of drawing environments were lined up, combining Wacom's LCD pen tablets with ZOTAC's mini PCs.

The ZOTAC mini PC can be seen behind the LCD pen tablet.

This is the '

ZBOX edge MA762 ' model, which is equipped with a Ryzen APU.

This is what it looks like when you hold it in your hand. The small body makes it easy to place anywhere. There are vents on the top and sides, so heat dissipation should be no problem.

It's quite thin. On the front, there is one USB Type-A port that supports USB 3.2 and one USB Type-C port that supports USB 4.

On the back there are two wired LAN ports, one DisplayPort, one HDMI port, and two USB 3.2 Type-A ports.

A large LCD pen tablet. A person trying it out said, 'I'm glad I got to actually try one today, because there aren't any LCD pen tablets in the electronics stores in Tokushima.'

This large LCD pen tablet runs on ZOTAC's MAGNUS EN series. The MAGNUS EN series is unique in that it's compact yet equipped with a desktop GPU. While many small PCs with GPUs are equipped with lower-performance laptop GPUs, the MAGNUS EN series is equipped with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 50 series or GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards designed for desktop PCs.

I had the opportunity to try out

the MAGNUS EN275060TC , a model from the MAGNUS EN series. It's packed with a desktop PC GPU, yet is small enough to hold in one hand.

The front is equipped with a USB 3.2 Type-A port and two Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports.

On the back are three DisplayPorts, one HDMI port, four USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and two wired LAN ports.

We asked a ZOTAC representative to try out the ZBOX edge MA762 (left) and the MAGNUS EN275060TC (right). He said, 'Animators' desks are often packed with documents, leaving little space for a PC. By combining a ZOTAC mini PC with a Wacom LCD pen tablet, you can create an animation environment even in a small space.'
