A report on the heated 'Super Kigurumi Fight! in Machi Asobi' battles, including 'Nail Bat Zundamon,' 'The Impact of the Two-Way Evil God,' and 'Hoppe-chan Who Fawns Over the Government.'



Machi★Asobi, which is held in Tokushima about once every six months, is known for its wide variety of exhibits and events, from original anime drawings to tent saunas.

Machi★Asobi Vol. 29, which opened on October 18, 2025, featured the ' Super Kigurumi Fight! in Machi Asobi, ' a serious battle between mascots.

We arrived at the Ryogokubashi Nishi Park Stage, the venue for Super Kigurumi Fight! in Machi Asobi. It was raining, but a lot of people had gathered.

The event began at 10:00. The mascots entered one by one. First,

Little Bob Dog walked in, stepping slowly along. Next to him was a masked version of ' Home Economics Dragon ,' also created by Sunward.



Hoppe-chan from Sun Houseki. Super Kigurumi Fight! at Machi Asobi features a battle in which kigurumi fighters try to pop balloons, with each character equipped with a weapon that has a thumbtack attached. Hoppe-chan is equipped with a bat with a thumbtack attached. Hoppe-chan's legs apparently grew out when she 'put her mind to it.'



It was born from BS Fuji's Nightly Project .



He is equipped with a machete that has something blood-red on it.



Zundamon popped out of the tent.



This Zundamon is obviously huge.



Kikuon , the mascot character for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' administrative consultation service, will also be participating.



Kikuon is also armed with a machete, and has the words 'Administrative Consultation' written around his neck.



And Jashin-chan Impact also appears.



He's a two-sword wielder. He's equipped with a blue sword. Incidentally, this tournament is the '2nd Super Kigurumi Fight!' and Jashin-chan Impact was the winner of the first one.



So, all the players have been announced.



As a result of the lottery, the first match was decided to be between Jashin-chan Impact and Yonana. They were already fighting with swords and machetes before the match even started.



You can see the match in the video below. The rules are simple: 'Attach three balloons to your body, and whoever pops all of your opponent's balloons within three minutes wins.' While you might think it would be a light-hearted match, it turned out to be a tense one, with players constantly trying to read each other's timing amidst powerful background music.

Since the winner could not be decided within the allotted three minutes, the match went into a sudden death match, where each team had to pop one balloon at a time.



They broke almost at the same time, with Yonana winning by a narrow margin.

The second match was between Kiku-kun and Hoppe-chan. Since the first match was a close one, a new rule was added for the second match: 'Balloons cannot be attached to the back.'

Immediately after the match began, Yonana executed her strategy of 'appeasing the authorities with all her might,' presenting all of her balloons to Cocoon, who won in a landslide victory.



The third match is between Zundamon and Little Bob Dog. Zundamon's weapon is a bat with thumbtacks attached.



Zundamon is checking the feel of the bat. He has overwhelmingly higher mobility than the other players, and looks like a strong man with a nail bat.

I was surprisingly hesitant.



He uses his long limbs to keep his distance and keep Little Bob Dog at bay.



In any case, the reach is just too different.



It seemed like Zundamon would win, but Little Bob Dog took advantage of a momentary gap and succeeded in popping Zundamon's balloon. In fact, Zundamon had been acting up too much while preparing and had popped one of his own balloons, so Little Bob Dog popped the remaining two balloons and won.



It's so sad.



The final was between Yonana, Kicoon and Little Bob Dog.



In the final match, Yonana won by using a strategic move of approaching Kikuon and Little Bob Dog from behind while they were fighting and popping their balloons.
