Unreleased iPad Pro with M5 technology unboxing video released

Wylsacom , a Russian technology YouTuber with over 11.5 million subscribers, has posted a video unboxing the unreleased iPad Pro with the M5 processor.

The packaging for the iPad Pro with M5 is said to be slightly thinner than that of the previous model, the iPad Pro with M4.

The design is almost the same as

the M4 iPad Pro , with the same slim body and no changes to the main camera module on the back. Bloomberg reports that the M5 iPad Pro will have a dual front camera, but it's unclear from Wylsacom's unboxing video whether the front camera has been changed to a dual camera.

The video also includes benchmark tests. A CPU benchmark test using Geekbench confirmed that the M5 is equipped with the same 9-core CPU as the M4-equipped iPad Pro, with the L2 cache increased from 4MB to 6MB. The single-core score of the M5-equipped iPad Pro was 4133, approximately a 10% improvement over the M4. The multi-core score was 15,437, approximately a 15% improvement over the M4.

Below are the results of the GPU benchmark using Geekbench. The M5 scored 74,568 points, while the M4 scored 55,702 points. The score is about 34% higher.

The results of the AnTuTu Benchmark benchmark test are as follows: The M5's overall score is 3,137,936, about 8% higher than the M4. AnTuTu Benchmark includes a CPU score, GPU score, MEM score (memory performance evaluation), and UX score (user experience evaluation), but all scores except the CPU score are significantly higher than the M4's.

Benchmark tests also reveal that the 256GB M5-equipped iPad Pro has 12GB of RAM, while the previous M4-equipped iPad Pro had 8GB of RAM in the 256GB and 512GB models, and 16GB in the 1TB and 2TB models.

Romancev768 , another Russian technology YouTuber, has also released an unboxing video of the iPad Pro with the M5.
