The organizing committee announced that the

Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair (Kyomaf) 2025 , held on Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st, 2025, was a huge success, with 36,143 visitors.

At the main venues, Miyako Messe (Kyoto City Industrial Promotion Hall) and ROHM Theatre Kyoto (Kyoto Kaikan) , 66 companies and organizations exhibited, and in addition to exciting merchandise sales, limited edition video screenings, figure exhibits, and mascot greetings, a total of 25 stage programs were held. In addition, original menus created by Okoshiyasu Ambassadors Nobuhiko Okamoto and Manaka Iwami were sold at the Chara Cafe, and merchandise including collaboration visual goods were lined up at the Kyomafu Shop.

This is my second consecutive year as an Okoshiyasu Ambassador, but this year I decided to step up my parade activities and marched around as hard as I could. I was so happy to receive so many comments on social media from people who met me and who said the ochazuke was delicious. I hope you will continue to cherish the culture of Japanese animation - manga, anime and games - and continue to support us. Thank you so much for these two days!



Manaka Iwami:
As a Kyomafu 2025 Okoshiyasu Ambassador, I was involved in various ways, such as appearing on stage and touring the venue. Thanks to the smiles and warm support of everyone who came, I really enjoyed my work as an ambassador. Over the two days, I was able to feel not only the greatness of manga, anime, and games, but also the efforts and enthusiasm of the collaborating companies. Thank you so much to everyone who came!
