I bought 'Gatsun, To Chou Mikan' (left) and 'Gatsun, To Mikan' (right) at a convenience store. 'Gatsun, To Chou Mikan' has 'more than three times the juice' compared to 'Gatsun, To Mikan.'

First, check the ingredients. 'Gatsun, to Chou Mikan' has the most mandarin orange juice, followed by mandarin oranges in syrup, sugar, and isomerized liquid sugar. On the other hand, 'Gatsun, to Mikan' has the most mandarin oranges in syrup, followed by mandarin orange juice, isomerized liquid sugar, and sugar. 'Gatsun, to Chou Mikan' uses kabosu juice as a secret ingredient to bring out the mandarin orange flavor.

The calories per stick of 'Gatsun, to Chou Mikan' are 70 kcal, while 'Gatsun, to Mikan' is 49 kcal. Both come in packs of five, so the amount is the same.

I lined up the 'Gatsun, To Super Orange' (left) and the 'Gatsun, To Mikan' (right). The 'Gatsun, To Super Orange' is a little more orange, but there's nothing else that's changed.

I cut it with a knife. Compared to the 'Super Clunky Orange' (top), the 'Clunky Orange' (bottom) seems to be frozen even more tightly.
When you actually try them, the first thing you'll notice is that the texture is completely different. 'Gatsun to Mikan' has the crisp texture of ice, but 'Gatsun to Chou Mikan' is very soft and barely has any crunch. It's as soft as if real mandarins had been frozen. 'Gatsun to Chou Mikan' has a stronger mandarin orange flavor and aroma, and you can taste the sweetness and sourness of the juice. 'Gatsun to Mikan' also has a fairly strong mandarin orange sweet and sour taste, but when you compare the two, you'll think it's a little weak. That's how rich 'Gatsun to Chou Mikan' was.

The suggested retail price for the 'Gatsun, to Cho Mikan' is 549 yen (tax included), and the suggested retail price for the 'Gatsun, to Mikan' is 486 yen (tax included). They were being sold at these prices at a nearby convenience store.
On Amazon.co.jp, a pack of 7 is sold for 4,980 yen including tax (approximately 711 yen per box).
