New visuals revealed for anime 'Vigilante: My Hero Academia Illegals' to begin broadcasting in January 2026

Vigilante -My Hero Academia ILLEGALS-', an official spin-off of 'My Hero Academia ', has been scheduled to begin in January 2026, and a new visual has been released.

The announcement was made at the Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair (Kyomaf) 2025 , where Shuichiro Umeda, who plays Haimawari Koichi in Vigilante, appeared as a secret guest on the My Hero Academia stage.




The visual released shows Pop☆Step, Koichi, and Knuckleduster standing side by side. Umeda commented, 'The second season of 'Vigilante' will finally start in January 2026! I've been looking forward to seeing Koichi and the others again. Deku and his friends' story is finally reaching its climax, but I hope that as a side story, you can continue to immerse yourself in the world of My Hero Academia through Koichi and the others. Thank you for your support!'



The production of the second season of the anime was announced in June 2025.
