An image of the usage example has also been released.
Ray-Ban Meta is the world's best-selling AI glasses, released in October 2023, and is equipped with features such as a hands-free camera, AI assistant, real-time translation, and an open-ear audio player.
The biggest feature of the newly released second generation is the extended battery life, which has been increased from the first generation's 'up to 4 hours of use on a single charge' to 'up to 8 hours of use on a single charge.'
They can also be charged up to 50% in just 20 minutes, and come with a charging case that gives you 48 hours of charging time on the go.

The camera supports 3K Ultra HD resolution, more than double the resolution of the first generation, and can capture vivid images at up to 60 frames per second.
The open-ear speaker audio amplification feature will be available via a software update.
The frames are available in three colors: Wayfarer, Skyler, and Headliner, and are available in limited-edition colors. Prices start at $379 (approximately 55,800 yen), and purchases from Japan are not currently available.
In addition, the company also announced the Meta Ray-Ban Display, an AI-powered eyeglasses with a full-color, high-resolution display.

The display is located inside the lenses of the glasses and is visible only when needed and disappears when not needed, so it does not obstruct your vision.
The AI glasses come with an electromyography wristband called the Meta Neural Band, which converts signals generated by muscle movements into commands for the AI glasses. This allows users to intuitively control the AI glasses with just a slight movement of their hand, without having to touch them directly.
The Meta Ray-Ban Display will be released on September 30, 2025 local time, and will cost $799 (approximately 117,000 yen) with the Meta Neural Band.
