Auracast allows you to share the same music or audio simultaneously using multiple earphones or headphones paired with a single Android device. This allows friends to listen to the same music using separate earphones, or for a hearing-impaired person to listen to audio announcements provided in public facilities using their own earphones. One of the features of Auracast is that sharing is possible even if everyone using the same app or subscription service is not using the same service.

While the service has been available on Android devices such as the Pixel, it will now also be available on Samsung's Galaxy S25, Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy Fold 7, Galaxy Fold 6, and Galaxy Fold 5, as well as the Xiaomi 14 series, Xiaomi 15 series, and Xiaomi MIX FLIP. Sony headphones have also been added to the list.

To share audio with Auracast, simply scan the QR code displayed on your smartphone or pair it using Fast Pairing .

In addition, the following three new features for Android were announced on September 3, 2025 local time:

The keyboard app Gboard now uses AI to suggest proofreading for your input. Proofreading and editing are done on your device, ensuring your data remains private.

- 'Emoji Kitchen,' which allows you to combine two emojis, now supports favorite registration
Gboard's 'Emoji Kitchen,' which lets you combine two emojis to create original ones, now lets you register favorites, making it easier to find your favorite emojis.

・Improved “Quick Share”
The improved Quick Share feature for sharing photos and videos now lets you quickly switch between sending and receiving, previews the contents of files being shared, and displays a progress indicator that shows the percentage of the transfer completed.
