NVIDIA launches Jetson AGX Thor development kit for robotics brains at $3,499, with shipping expected in September 2025
NVIDIA has announced the Jetson Thor (Jetson AGX Thor), a chip module that functions as the brain of a robot. Development kits are now available.

Jetson Thor uses the Blackwell architecture announced in 2024 and is a module equipped with a maximum AI computing power of 2070 TFLOPS and 128GB of memory. Compared to its predecessor, the NVIDIA AGX Origin, it delivers more than 7.5 times the AI computing performance, 3.5 times the power efficiency, 2 times the memory, and 3.1 times the CPU performance.
This performance improvement will enable workflows that were previously difficult to implement, such as high-speed sensor data processing in robot development and inference processing from visual information.
The development kit is already on sale and is scheduled to begin shipping in September 2025. Its simple design means it can be used simply by connecting it to a power source, and it supports a variety of development platforms, including NVIDIA Isaac for robotics and NVIDIA Metropolis for video analysis AI agents.
