'If I hadn't sold my Apple stock back then, I'd be worth about $50 million by now. What's the difference between me and Woz? I'm not a smart person. I'm not a great engineer,' one user wrote on the message board Slashdot, expressing regret over his decision. Another user responded, 'Some people do things not for fame or money, but simply because they're fun. Capitalism doesn't see any value in those people, and doesn't understand why they'd waste their time on something that has no economic or practical value.'
In response to this series of posts, Wozniak himself, who is known to have appeared on Slashdot several times in the past, appeared and left the following comment.
'I gave away all the wealth I earned at Apple because wealth and power are not what I live for. I have a lot of fun and happiness. I support many museums and arts organizations in my hometown of San Jose, and I even had a street named after me in my honor. I'm now a public speaker and I've risen to the top. I don't know how much I'm worth, but after 20 years of speaking, I may have over $10 million in assets and several homes. I've never wanted to know how to avoid taxes. I pay about 55% in taxes on my income from work. I'm the happiest person in the world. For me, life is not about achievement, it's about happiness. Happiness is smiles minus frustration. These philosophies were established when I was 18-20 years old, and I never compromised.'
Wozniak, who has been with Apple since its inception, is highly regarded for his dedication and dedication as a developer. The above comment is seen as a perfect example of his character and has been well received by users.

On the social media site Hacker News, comments included, 'Wozniak's video showing us around the Computer History Museum really gives us a sense of his personality,' a comment introducing a video in which Wozniak said, 'I'm fed up with Tesla because their support center is incompetent,' and a quote from an interview in which he said, 'I never wanted to become corrupt in my life. I decided that when I was 20 years old. A lot of basic ethics are about truth and honesty, and I intend to be an honest person . I won't become corrupt in the sense of doing things for money. I don't want to be part of a group that pursues power and wealth. I just want to live a good life, a good life.'
