Tencent's Light of Motivation, which was criticized as a 'zero originality Horizon' and sued by Sony, has quietly updated its Steam page to remove elements similar to Horizon Zero Dawn.

Light of Motiram , announced by China's Tencent in 2024, is facing a lawsuit from Sony, claiming that its setting and worldview are too similar to Horizon Zero Dawn , developed by Sony subsidiary Guerrilla Games . It has now been revealed that Light of Motiram has quietly updated the images and synopsis on its Steam page.

Light of Motiram is an open-world survival game featuring mechanized beasts. A few days after the lawsuit was filed, it was revealed that Tencent had quietly removed, edited, and replaced some screenshots and trailers from Light of Motiram's Steam page.

According to SteamDB , the Steam database site, the Light of Motiram's Steam page was updated on August 7, 2025.
