Threads' analytics feature, Threads Insights, is available to free users. The traditional Threads Insights screen looks like this, with sections for the total number of views, the number of 'interactions' that responded to posts, and the number of followers.
Meta announced that it has updated Threads Insights with new features on July 22, 2025. With the new Threads Insights, you can tap on the metrics on the dashboard to see the progress of your views and more detailed data on interactions and followers.
To use Threads Insights, log into your account, click Menu, then click 'Insights.'

You can check the total number of views, the breakdown of users who responded to the post as followers or non-followers, the trend in the number of followers you gained, the age range of your followers, etc. Click 'View,' which displays the number of views in a graph.

You can set the period to 'Past 7 days,' 'Past 14 days,' 'Past 30 days,' or 'Past 90 days,' and see a graph showing the trend in the number of views for that period.

You can also check the 'view source' of where people who viewed your post came from.
You can also see a graph showing how interactions changed over time, as well as a breakdown of how many of each type of interaction (likes, reposts, quotes, and replies) were received.

Regarding followers, you can see the trends in the total number of followers as well as trends among followers such as region, age, and gender.

Regarding the updates, Meta said, 'We're committed to making Threads the best place to share fresh perspectives, and we'll continue to support creators in building and growing their communities on Threads. As part of this, we're providing creators with tools to understand the types of content and conversations that resonate with their audiences.'
