Burger King's new 'BABY BODY BURGER,' officially approved by the Japan Sumo Association, is a meat-covered burger that lives up to its catchphrase, 'Meat and meat collide in practice.'

To commemorate the sponsorship contract signed between BK Japan Holdings Co., Ltd., which operates Burger King in Japan, and the Japan Sumo Association, a large 'yokozuna-class' burger called the ' BABY BODY BURGER' using five beef patties will be available from Friday, July 11, 2025. I immediately tried it.

Born from a collaboration with the Japan Sumo Association! The impressive 'Yokozuna-class' super-sized burger 'BABY BODY BURGER' is now available, made with five flame-grilled 100% beef patties stacked on top of each other!

I came to Burger King.

The burger I was looking for was the 'BABY BODY BURGER' with the bold words 'Officially Approved by the Japan Sumo Association' written on it. The catchphrase was 'Meat and meat collide in training.'

It took less than five minutes from ordering to the burger being ready. I hurriedly brought it back. You get an original sticker for each burger.

The burger feels heavy when you lift it up to take it out. It's so big that it would easily fill up your transportation IC card.

The height is about the same as the long side of an IC card.

The actual weight is 624g.

When you open the package, it looks like this. The sweet aroma of meat and ketchup spreads powerfully.

When you lift the top bun, you can see the cheese, lettuce, and tomato on top of the patty.

When you try to pick it up, it feels quite heavy.

The cross section looks like this, and the presence of five patties is overwhelming.

When you eat it, the taste of the patty is overwhelming in your mouth, just as it looks. The taste of the meat spreads throughout your mouth as it absorbs all the moisture. At the same time, the sour pickles and the rich sweetness of the special aurora sauce rise up to compete with it. Burger King regularly offers extra-large patty burgers like this one, but this burger is a great match for the sauce, as the taste of the sauce is not overpowered by the patty. However, the absolute amount of sauce is not that much, so the impression is that the taste of the meat is dominated overall. I felt that it could have been a little more sauce, but if you increase the amount of strong-tasting sauce too much, it seems like it will overwhelm the taste of the meat, so it may be difficult to strike a balance.

Since it's a five-patty burger, you're sure to be full after eating just one, but it's 1,876 kcal, so be careful about balancing it with other meals. Also, the price is 2,590 yen (tax included) per burger, so it might be best to share it with multiple people.
