I tried new products from Mister Donut, such as 'Zakumochi Dog Arabiki Sausage', which is a crispy sausage in a crunchy and chewy dough

Zaku Mochi Dog ' series sold at Mister Donut added the ' Zaku Mochi Dog Coarse-ground Sausage ' and ' Zaku Mochi Dog European-style Curry '. I actually tried the 'meal donut' which is made by coating the dough with breadcrumbs and frying it to give it a crunchy texture.

I bought a 'Zaku Mochi Dog' at Mister Donut.

The top left is 'Zaku Mochi Dog Coarse Sausage' and the top right is 'Zaku Mochi Dog European Curry'. There was also 'Zaku Mochi Dog Egg' (below), which was released in 2024, so I bought it.

This is the 'Zaku Mochi Dog with Coarsely Ground Sausage.' A sausage sandwiched between fried bread and topped with vegetable ketchup.

This is what the cross section looks like. When I actually ate it, the sausage was crispy, and I could taste the sourness of the ketchup, the sweetness of the dough, and the saltiness of the sausage in alternation. The dough was chewy and had a good bite, with just the right amount of crunch.

Next, I will try the 'Zaku Mochi Dog European Style Curry'.

The sandwich was packed with curry all the way to the middle. The curry was sweet overall, but had a hint of spiciness. It was the kind of flavor you'd expect from a 'curry bread,' but the chewy texture of the dough gave it a unique flavor.

Lastly, we tried the 'Zaku Mochi Dog Egg'.

The sliced egg on top and the egg salad filling sandwiched in between allow you to enjoy a large amount of egg at once. It has a mayonnaise-like flavor, but it is not too strong, and you can fully enjoy the taste of the egg while also feeling the slight sourness and sweetness of the bread.

The price of the 'Zaku Mochi Dog Coarsely Ground Sausage' is 356 yen (tax included) for takeout and 363 yen (tax included) for eat-in. The 'Zaku Mochi Dog European Style Curry' and 'Zaku Mochi Dog Egg' are 313 yen (tax included) for takeout and 319 yen (tax included) for eat-in. They have been on sale at all Mister Donut stores except for some shops since July 2nd.
