I bought 'Mitsuya Salt Cider'. The gradation of blue used is reminiscent of the beautiful sea, giving it a refreshing impression.

As the packaging says 'Okinawa sea salt,' the salt used is from Okinawa Prefecture.

The ingredients are salt (manufactured in Okinawa Prefecture), carbon dioxide, acidulant, flavoring, and sweeteners (acesulfame K, sucralose). It has zero calories, so even people on a diet can drink it without worrying.

I poured it into a glass.

As it claims to be highly carbonated, it has a very fizzy feeling.

When I tried it, it tasted like a regular Mitsuya Cider, with a strong carbonation and a refreshing sweetness. However, a slight saltiness gradually appeared in my mouth, and the aftertaste was slightly like licking salt. The salt equivalent is 0.12g per 100ml, so one bottle of Mitsuya Salt Cider can provide about 0.6g of salt.

'Mitsuya Salt Cider' will be available at retail stores nationwide from Tuesday, June 24, 2025, with a suggested retail price of 194 yen including tax, and 172 yen including tax at the convenience store where it was purchased this time. Also, at the time of writing this article, it was also available on Amazon.co.jp, with a set of 24 bottles costing 2,892 yen (about 120 yen per bottle).
