The Fairphone 6 has a very simple design. Its dimensions are 156.5mm long x 73.3mm wide x 9.6mm thick, and it comes in three colors: Cloud White, Forest Green, and Horizon Black.
The biggest feature of the Fairphone 6 is that it can be easily disassembled with just screws and a pick. Each module can be easily replaced by anyone.
For example, here's the procedure for replacing the battery on the Fairphone 6. The back panel can be removed with two screws, and the battery is secured with five screws.
To replace the battery, simply remove the screws and pull out the connection terminal.
The USB-C port used for power supply and the speaker can also be replaced.
The Fairphone 6 is powered by Qualcomm's mid-range Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using an SDXC card.
The camera is a 50-megapixel main camera (wide-angle) and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera on the back, and a 32-megapixel hole-punch camera on the front. The previous generation was all 50-megapixel, so the camera performance is slightly lower.
