According to information obtained by Reuters from a person familiar with the matter, NVIDIA and Foxconn are in discussions about a plan to 'introduce humanoid robots to Foxconn's new factory built in Houston. Foxconn's new factory is scheduled to start assembly of the GB300 in the first quarter of 2026, and the goal is to introduce humanoid robots by the time the GB300 assembly lanes start operating.
The manufacturer and number of humanoid robots to be installed at Foxconn's factories have not been disclosed, nor is it clear what tasks they will perform. One of the people involved said, 'The Houston factory is new, large, and has a lot of space, so it is ideal for introducing humanoid robots.'
Foxconn has announced that in 2024 it has collaborated with NVIDIA to build a system that 'trains robots in a virtual world to streamline product assembly work.'

NVIDIA is also focusing on research and development of humanoid robots, and in March 2025 released the ' Isaac GR00T N1 ' circuit board model for humanoid robots for free.

In addition, in a keynote speech at the AI conference GTC Paris held in June 2025, CEO Jensen Huang spoke about the outlook for humanoid robots and thrilled the audience by performing alongside the small robot Grek.
