I stayed at Hotel Tozan Comfort Daiyuzan, which is conveniently located just a 0-minute walk from the Izu Hakone Railway Station.

The Izu-Hakone area is very popular with tourists, and it is quite difficult to secure a hotel close to the station at the last minute. This time, the weather forecast predicted that the weather would be bad, so I searched for a hotel that was close to the station and would not get wet, even if it was a little far from the area. Hotel Tozan Comfort Daiyuzan , adjacent to Daiyuzan Station on the Izu Hakone Railway Daiyuzan Line, came up as a candidate, so I decided to stay there.

Daiyuzan Station, where Hotel Tozan Comfort is located, is the last stop on the Izu Hakone Railway Daiyuzan Line, and is a little over 20 minutes from Odawara Station. The fare is 310 yen and IC card tickets can be used. The first train leaves at 5:00 and the last train leaves at 23:00, with trains running every 15 to 20 minutes, so there should be almost no points where you will have trouble getting there.

Arrived at Daiyuzan Station. The triangular roof on the left is the station, and the building to the right is the Hotel Tozan Comfort Daiyuzan. The official website states that it is '0 minutes walk from Daiyuzan Station' which is not an exaggeration considering the distance from the ticket gate to the building site.

Take the elevator from the first floor of the building to the reception on the fourth floor. If the elevator arrives at the right time, you will be able to reach the reception in just one minute.

Hotel Tozan Comfort Daiyuzan is located in one of the three Vermi buildings in the commercial facility known as Vermi, which consists of three buildings in front of Daiyuzan Station.

Check in at the front desk. To reduce plastic use, amenities are not provided in the single and standard twin rooms, but are provided at the front desk.

There is no lobby opposite the front desk, but instead there is a space for vending machines and a coin laundry. The coin laundry has three washing machines and three dryers.

Comics such as 'Golgo 13' and 'Kochikame' were lined up on the bookshelf.

This is what the room looks like when you enter. It's a standard single room.

There is a full-length mirror in the hallway leading from the room entrance.

The space next to the door was a closet, with a safe at the foot of the closet and three hangers.

Here's the inside of the room again:

The table is quite wide, and cut at an angle to avoid interference with the bed. The chair is box-shaped with casters and has no backrest. The pot is 0.8L.

This is what it looks like when you place a 12.1-inch Let's Note on it.

There were electrical outlets and a TV antenna terminal on the floor.

The TV is 24 inches.

The refrigerator is box-shaped and does not have a door pocket.

A very bright desk lamp.

Tissues, hairdryers, and glasses are stored on the shelves of the desk.

The bed is a standard single size.

The air conditioner is centrally controlled, so you can change the temperature but not the operation settings.

There is a light and light switch at the head of the bed.

The gown is made of a slightly thicker fabric and is a loose-fitting type.

The unit bath looks like this.

The faucet is the type that you have to turn the hot and cold water separately, so adjusting the temperature is a bit of a hassle, but the shower head is new.

The bathtub is a standard, slightly deep type.

In addition, the 'Relax Single Room', which can be selected for the same price as the single room, is equipped with a massager.

To begin with, the hotel only offers accommodation without meals, so you cannot eat at the hotel, but there are several restaurants in the shopping center the hotel is in, and the Odawara Department Store Daiyuzan branch is across from Daiyuzan Station, so you won't have any trouble buying groceries between 9am and 8pm. The town is also quiet at night, so it was very comfortable.

However, the elevators used to enter and exit the hotel are shared with commercial facilities and stop operating at midnight, so you must be back at the hotel before then. Also, the elevators start operating at 6am, so you cannot leave before then. Since you cannot leave the hotel, it is not possible to catch the first train on the Daiyusan Line, so please be aware of this.
