Autonomous mining truck fleet begins operation in China with 100 fully self-driving electric trucks

China Huaneng Group , a state-owned energy company, has announced that it has begun operating the 'Huaneng Richi' truck fleet of 100 fully autonomous electric trucks without a driver's seat at the Yimin mine in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The 'Huaneng Richi', which is operated using Huawei's 5G technology, is said to be the world's first truck fleet of 100 trucks.
