Machi★Asobi vol.28 , a multi-purpose entertainment event with the concept of 'Having fun in Tokushima', has begun. The event will take place on Saturday, May 10th and Sunday, May 11th, 2025, and will feature talks by anime and game casts and staff, live performances by artists, a number of exhibitions and merchandise, as well as the first appearance of the Machi★Asobi Sauna, where you can enjoy a tent sauna set up along the river, and talk events with a limited number of people are also planned.

The day before the event, a pre-event party was held, attended by Tokushima Anime Ambassador Eriko Nakamura and others, where the second edition of the food truck 'ufotable cafe TO GO' and the new project 'Machi★Asobi Sauna' were unveiled.

◆Machi★Asobi Sauna
Machi★Asobi, which often hosts unusual events that you won't see anywhere else, has recently added a new sauna called 'Machi★Asobi Sauna.' Use is for 90 minutes, and same-day tickets are available. Plans are also underway for talk events in the sauna, as well as an event to watch the anime series 'Dropkick on My Devil.'

◆Anime x Game Jam Mini in Tokushima Machi Asobi
The non-profit organization Anime Industry Innovation Council (ANiC) was holding an anime production hackathon called 'Anime x Game Jam Mini,' so I decided to participate and try my hand at (part of) 3DCG anime production.

◆ Life-size figure of [Oshi no Ko]
I went to the TV Anime Oshi no Ko Museum in Tokushima located in the Poppo-gai shopping arcade and took photos of life-size figures of Ai, Ruby, and Aqua.

◆An anime and game exhibition using vacant stores in Poppo-gai Shopping Arcade
At the Poppo-gai Shopping Arcade on the west side of Tokushima Station, exhibitions are being held in vacant storefronts. You can see anime setting materials and play unreleased games, so I went around all the exhibits in the arcade.

The first act on the Ryogokubashi Nishi Park stage was singer-songwriter Amagi Sera.



Miho Okazaki, who plays Rimuru, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, who plays Masayuki, appeared on stage for the stage event for the anime ' That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime .'

At the event for the movie 'Toi-san Wants to Have a Youthful Life! A Fool, a Smartphone, and Romance,' a dance lecture was given by REAL AKIBA JUNIORZ.


Ayaka Fukuhara, who plays Onijima Ren, and Makoto Koichi, who plays Asami Seio, appeared at the talk show for the media mix project 'BURNS SKOOL,' which 'vividly depicts life-sized 12-year-olds through music and voice dramas with the theme of 'Boys x Dance x Pride.' '
