On May 8, 2025, Samsung announced on one of its official YouTube channels that it will unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13, 2025 local time.

Samsung first released a teaser video for the Galaxy S25 Edge following the launch of other models in the Galaxy S25 series in early 2025. Some information about the Galaxy S25 Edge was then released at MWC 2025 in March 2025, but the full details of the Galaxy S25 Edge have yet to be revealed apart from leaked information.

The Galaxy S25 Edge launch event is scheduled to take place on May 13, 2025 at 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (10:00 AM on May 13, 2025), and the event will be streamed live on YouTube.

Samsung is promoting the Galaxy S25 Edge as follows: 'This is more than just a slim smartphone. Every curve, contour and component reflects precision engineering innovation to create a premium experience worthy of the S Series name. The Galaxy S25 Edge not only sets a new standard for what's possible in a smartphone, it also ushers in a new era of growth for the mobile industry.'

According to leaked information , the Galaxy S25 Edge is 5.85mm thin and has a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back panel. The display glass is Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, not Gorilla Armor 2, which is used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The display size is 6.7 inches, the same as the Galaxy S25+, and the resolution is 1440p (QHD, WQHD, QHD+) . The phone comes in three colors: Titanium Silver, Titanium Icy Blue, and Titanium Jet Black.

Snapdragon 8 Elite , the memory (RAM) is 12GB, and the storage is 256GB or 512GB. The battery capacity is 3900mAh, which is 1000mAh less than the Galaxy S25+, but in return it weighs only 163g. The camera is a dual camera with a 200-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and the front camera is 12 megapixels.
