Bluesky introduces a 'blue check mark' to indicate a verified account, and by clicking the check mark you can also see 'who verified it'

Bluesky has added a feature that allows verified accounts to be marked with a blue check. In addition, accounts can now be verified not only by the Bluesky team, but also by 'selected independent organizations.'
A New Form of Verification on Bluesky - Bluesky
If you check ' Bluesky Safety (@safety.bsky.app) ', one of the official accounts of the Bluesky management team, you will see a blue check mark to the right of the username in the profile section and posts.

Click the blue check mark to find out more.

An explanation was then displayed stating that the app had been verified by the official Bluesky account, ' Bluesky (@bsky.app) .'

'Trusted verifiers' who can verify other accounts and give them a blue checkmark are given a blue checkmark with a wavy line around it.

'Trusted verifiers' include not only official Bluesky accounts, but also independent organizations carefully selected by the Bluesky management team. For example, at the time of writing, the official account of The New York Times, ' The New York Times (@nytimes.com) ', has been certified as a 'trusted verifier.'

New York Times reporter Kate Conger's account ' kate conger(@kateconger.com) ' also had a blue check mark. Click on the check mark to see more details.

Then, the explanation 'Verified by the New York Times' was displayed. Accounts verified by an independent organization are double-checked by the Bluesky management team.
