A 1991 commercial for the overseas version of the

Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and a Nintendo Switch 2 commercial that pays homage to that commercial have been uploaded to Nintendo's official YouTube channel. As a self-homage, the commercial is peppered with little jokes.

Below is a SNES commercial from 1991.

You may notice that the men in the commercials are similar in clothing and hairstyle, but it turns out they are the same person: Paul Rudd, an actor who has appeared in films such as ' Ant-Man ,' appears in both commercials.

At the end, Paul Rudd quotes the line from the 1991 commercial, 'Play with powers, super powers,' and ends the video by saying, 'Power is good, but playing together is even better. Play together, super together.'
