The 'Binan Koukou Chikyuu Defense Club' series began with ' Binan Koukou Chikyuu Defense Club LOVE! ' in the winter of 2015, followed by its sequel ' Binan Koukou Chikyuu Defense Club LOVE! LOVE! ' in the summer of 2016, the OVA ' Binan Koukou Chikyuu Defense Club LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! ' in the summer of 2017, and ' Binan Koukou Chikyuu Defense Club HAPPY KISS! ' with a completely new cast in the spring of 2018. In 2025, the movie 'Binan Koukou Chikyuu Defense Club ETERNAL LOVE!' was released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the series' first broadcast.

The new series 'Binan Koukou Chikyu Boueibu Haikara!' was announced in March 2025, and the production announcement was held today, Sunday, April 20, 2025.
In this film, the Earth is protected by the 'Haikara Romantic Group,' a group of five members from the Kurodama Dormitory of Meinan High School.
Second-year student Unzen Shinkurou (voiced by Takano Taiga) likes fashionable things. He is childhood friends with Doumeki, the student council president.
Sukayu Narushi (voiced by Nagaoka Ryuho), a super narcissistic third-year student.
Uonahana Sousuke (voiced by Kanze Tomoaki), a third-year student who serves as the mother of the Kurodama dormitory.
Oshamanbe Ushio (voiced by Koike Takahiro), a first-year student who is an avid eater.
Aso Akuta (voiced by Kusano Taichi), a first-year student who thinks he is the cutest person in the world.
Domekisuto Reito (voiced by Maeno Tomoaki), a third-year student and president of the student council, meets a prairie dog named Can and joins the Bankara New Elite Squad with the aim of creating an orderly world conquered by the elite.
Nyuto Samon (voiced by Azagami Yohei), a second-year student and vice president of the student council. He is a muscle-brained man who adores Doumeki and is completely devoted to him.
Nekoma Suku (voiced by Yamashita Daiki), a first-year student and secretary of the student council, is trying to rise up in the ranks.
Nuru (voice: Nishimura Tomomichi), a Pallas's cat, suddenly appears in the bathtub at the Kurotama Dormitory and transforms the members of the Defense Club using cat science.

The PV that was released looks like this. As in the series' previous version, the opening theme 'Haikara de GO!!' is sung by the five members of Haikara Romandan. In addition, the ending theme 'Afterglow in your eyes', which will be released in the future, will be sung by the three members of Bankara Shinreitai.
In commemoration of the decision to produce a new series, all previous series will be streamed at once.
