I took the main route to the 'Osaka-Kansai Expo' venue, the Osaka Metro Chuo Line, to Yumeshima Station.

The

Osaka-Kansai Expo, which begins on Sunday, April 13, 2025, will be held on the reclaimed land of Yumeshima. The Osaka Metro Chuo Line's Yumeshima Station is located adjacent to the east gate of the expo, so I actually took this route to get to the expo.

I arrived at Hommachi Station on the Midosuji Line, Osaka's main artery. From here I transferred to the Chuo Line. If you are transferring from the Midosuji Line, it is better to stay in a car closest to the Nakamozu line for a smoother transfer.

Once you go up the stairs from the platform, the Expo's mascot character, Myakumyaku, is waiting for you.

Follow the signs for 'Chuo Line' below your feet. There are also guides on hand, so you shouldn't get lost.

Follow the signs and go down the stairs until you reach the end of the Chuo Line platform. Platform 2 is heading to Yumeshima.

Special trains for children will be in operation from Monday, April 14th to Friday, July 18th.

Then, just get on the train bound for Yumeshima. You'll arrive in 20 minutes.

There is only one exit at Yumeshima Station, so you'll need to take the nearest stairs, escalator, or elevator to the ticket gate floor.

The ticket gate floor is wide.

There were 12 ticket vending machines available.

There are illustrations of Myakumyaku on the stairs at the exit.

Looking back as we ascended the escalator, we saw the word 'Yumeshima' written in pine wood.

Immediately after exiting, you will see the East Gate of the Expo site.
