World's largest child pornography platform 'Kidflix' shut down in global joint operation, 79 of 1,400 suspects arrested



Kidflix , one of the world's largest CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) platforms and said to be 'one of the most popular platforms for pedophiles,' has been shut down in an international joint operation led by the Bavarian State Criminal Police and the Bavarian Central Prosecutor's Office.

According to Europol, a CSAM platform launched in 2021, Kidflix allows users to view low-resolution previews of videos for free. Users can earn in-platform credits and view high-resolution videos by paying cryptocurrency, uploading CSAM, or verifying video titles and descriptions and assigning categories.

More than 1.8 million users logged in between April 2022 and March 2025. There are more than 91,000 videos, with approximately 3.5 new videos uploaded per hour, totaling 6,288 hours of playback time.

Operation Stream, which was launched in 2022 with the support of Europol and led by the Bavarian Criminal Police and the Bavarian Central Prosecutor's Office, and with the participation of police agencies from more than 35 countries around the world, was launched. Between March 10 and 23, 2025, 1,393 suspects involved in Kidflix were identified and 79 suspects were arrested. In addition, more than 3,000 electronic devices were seized and 39 children were rescued. The seized servers contained approximately 72,000 videos.

According to Europol, Operation Stream was the largest ever operation against child sexual exploitation.
