List of new anime starting in spring 2025

As the final episodes of currently airing and streaming anime draw near, it's time for new shows to begin in their place. There are approximately 60 anime series starting in spring 2025 (March 2025 to May 2025). In recent years, there have often been close to 70 shows broadcast in one season, so this may be a little less and easier to check out.

This spring, the broadcast of ' Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, ' a smash hit that attracted over 1.8 million viewers to its early theatrical screenings and grossed approximately 3 billion yen, will finally begin. Other original anime titles include 'Miru : My Future ,' a robot story produced by Yanmar; ' Maebashi Witches ,' set in Maebashi City; ' Princess Session Orchestra ,' which depicts the adventures of princesses who never forget to sing in their hearts; 'LAZARUS,' directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, in which five agents run around trying to save humanity; and ' Apocalypse Hotel ,' set on Earth after the extinction of mankind.

Other works on offer include GUILTY GEAR STRIVE: DUAL RULERS , the first TV anime adaptation of the popular game series; Twins Hinahima , an anime adaptation of a TikToker; YAIBA: Legend of the True Samurai, the first re-animation in about 20 years since YAIBA ; and Anne Shirley , a new anime adaptation of the original work that has been adapted for film many times.

The list of titles below is arranged in order of earliest broadcast/distribution. Because there are so many distribution services, information other than the earliest timing is generally summarized as 'Other distribution.'
