The beta version released this time includes a review summary feature that uses Apple's AI function 'Apple Intelligence.'
AI-generated summaries are displayed at the top of user reviews, as in the example below: 'Users say they find the app useful and helpful. They appreciate the ability to answer questions and the fast response time. They also appreciate the advanced voice mode.'

To be eligible for summaries, the language must be English and there must be enough user reviews to create a fair summary, and Apple says it plans to support the feature in more languages and regions in 2025.
Because AI-generated content is unpredictable, Apple is giving both developers and users the option to report problematic review summaries, and will update the summaries at least once a week to keep them current.

In addition to review summaries, the following new features are being tested in iOS 18.4 beta 2:
- Pause and resume app downloads
-Additional languages supported by Apple Intelligence (including Japanese)
-Add Siri to Control Center
- Visual intelligence added to iPhone 15 Pro that lets you examine objects photographed with the camera
- Change notification priority
- New emojis
-Option to choose default translation app
- Ability to search for apps in natural language

iOS 18.4 is scheduled to be released in April 2025.
