Play review of ``God of Weapons'', an action game that adds puzzle-like equipment organization to the Vansaba-type fully automatic Musou auto battle and adds various things to it.

`` God Of Weapons' ' is a game that combines the rogue-lite auto-battle action that quickly gained popularity thanks to `

`Vampire Survivors '' with the inventory Tetris elements familiar from `` Backpack Hero .'' I played this game where you can enjoy the pleasure of not only getting stronger by falling items, but also using your head to defeat your enemies.

There are two characters you can initially play in God Of Weapons. One is 'Raven' who has excellent movement speed and becomes stronger the more weapons he has.

The other is the 'Knight' who has excellent melee attacks and vitality. This time we will play at night.

Go through the gate leading to the dungeon from the first waiting area and start the game.

First, the battle begins on 'Floor 1'. The only operations the player can do are move the character up/down/left/right and dash with the space bar. Attacks are automatic. You can clear the game by keeping the enemies that keep spawning in the narrow space alive for a set amount of time on each floor.

What is displayed at the top left of the screen is your HP and EXP (experience points).

Defeating enemies will give you experience points, and defeated enemies may also drop money. Money is used to purchase equipment and upgrade your backpack after a battle.

Also, 'Taru' may appear during battle.

When you attack a barrel, a barrel-shaped bomb may be activated, or items that make you invincible for a certain period of time may be dropped.

When you watch a video of the battle scene in 'God Of Weapons', it looks like this.

The stage is cleared when you can withstand a certain amount of time. The shop screen will automatically open and 'Organizing your backpack', which can be said to be the main content of God Of Weapons, will begin. At the shop, you can increase the number of 'slots' in your backpack according to your level, and you can also buy items lined up in the shop with money.

By increasing the slots, the slots, which originally only had 11 squares, have increased to 17 squares. Next, put items into the increased slots.

From the beginning, he has one weapon, a short sword.

One unique item for the knight is the ``Tattered Flag''. If this is all I have, I don't feel at ease.

That's why I buy weapons from the shop. There are always 5 items displayed in the shop, and you can reroll if you don't like them. This time I will purchase one 'Prism Blade'.

You can purchase items by dragging them to your backpack, but the key is to arrange the items so that they fit properly within the squares. This time's prism blade has a size of '5 squares in a straight line', but you can't get it unless you have the same amount of empty slots in your backpack.

This time there was space, so it was a perfect fit. In addition to being able to 'rotate' items, you can also move items that have been placed in your backpack, giving you some flexibility in deciding where to place them.

The point to look at when purchasing weapons is the 'attribute' that each weapon has.For example, the prism blade below has the attributes of 'sword' and 'magic'. The attribute of the sword is 'Melee attack power +1 if there are 2 sword-attribute weapons in the backpack, +2 if there are 3', and the magic attribute is 'Magic attack power +1 if there are 2 sword-attribute weapons, +1 if there are 3 weapons' It has the characteristic of 'Ba+2', which means that the more weapons you collect with the same attribute, the stronger it becomes.

The initial equipment 'Short Sword' has two attributes: 'Sword' and 'Swift'. This time, there are two sword attributes in the backpack, so the melee attack power +1 characteristic is activated as shown below.

Once you have finished purchasing and organizing, select 'Go to next floor'.

The battle begins on floor 2, where you will fight stronger enemies for a longer period of time. Defeat enemies to earn experience points and money, and use the earned resources to further strengthen your game.

I made a video of the battle/shop purchase scene in 'God Of Weapons'.

The backpack expansion pace is quite slow, so sometimes you can't buy the items you want. The contents of the shop change every time, so if you don't want to miss out, right-click on the item and 'lock' it. You can keep your items even if you leave the shop.

In this play, I was able to purchase 3 'Short Swords' when I finished floor 3.

If you have 3 of the same weapon in your backpack, you can 'combine' by consuming 2 weapons and strengthening the remaining one.

After clicking Combine, select 3 of the same weapon.

After selecting, click 'Merge' to combine the weapons.

This raises the weapon's 'tier' and makes it more powerful. It is possible to combine weapons with the same name and the same tier.

In God Of Weapons, the combination of high-tier weapons and attributes is important, and you can become quite strong just by continuing to buy 'weapons with the same name'.

Also, ``gold'' accumulates even if you don't like it, so it's a good idea to keep rerolling. Rather, it seems to be a game system that relies on rerolling, and you can't win just by buying random items lined up in the shop, so it's better to keep spinning until you get the item you're looking for. However, the more you reroll, the more the cost will increase, so be careful. It will be reset once you leave the shop, so it's a good idea to reroll a few times and move on to the next floor.

Also, the secret of 'God Of Weapons' is that you won't be able to win just by adding weapons blindly. For now, I have the impression that you can fight even on high floors as long as you have the attributes, but God Of Weapons has a variety of stats such as ``attack power'', ``evasion rate'', and ``range'' in addition to ``attack power'' as shown below, and which one to strengthen. Your fighting style will change greatly depending on what you do.

In addition to weapons, there are the following equipment, and each status can be strengthened by putting the equipment in your backpack.

Recovery items don't often drop during battles, so what I felt was important while playing were ``Recovery'', which naturally recovers during battle, and ``Life Steal'', which steals HP from enemies. You won't be able to avoid being hit by just increasing your attack power halfway, so recovery methods are extremely important. If you run out of HP and are defeated, you will start out penniless again.

Once you are defeated, you will be returned to the standby area, but from the standby area you can access orbital elements such as the 'Armor Room'.

You can unlock new items by consuming the items ``Stone Monuments'' that you acquire as you go around. Unlocked items will be available in the shop during your next game.

You can also increase your attack power and luck by dedicating 'stone monuments' to the following 'statues'.

There is also a 'Prayer Monument' in the waiting area where you can earn rewards by clearing certain missions.

Also, if you clear a certain difficulty level, new jobs such as 'Eldritch Knight' below may be unlocked.

As you repeat the rounds, you will be able to change your initial weapon. In addition, you can also change the difficulty level, so as you get stronger, you can increase the difficulty, get stronger rewards, and strengthen again, creating a cycle.

In Vampire Survivors, you could simply choose items from items that dropped or items obtained by leveling up, but God Of Weapons has added an element of inventory organization, making it more strategic, and the ability to auto-battle and organize items. It turned out to be a game with a lot of good points.

God Of Weapons is sold on Steam for 629 yen including tax.
