◆Appearance
The 'GLIDiC TW-4000P' box looks like this.
When I opened it, I found a charging case, a color jacket for changing the color of the earphones, a USB Type-C and Type-A cable for charging, and an instruction manual. The length of the cable is about 20 cm excluding the terminal part.
When I opened the case lid, I found the GLIDiC TW-4000P inside.
The total length of the case is approximately 5cm.
When you put the earphones in the palm of your hand, they look like this. They are very compact with almost no protrusions.
The size of the main body is about 2cm.
The weight of the device when placed in the case is 23g.
Each piece weighs approximately 3g.
The case is charged with the included USB Type-C and Type-A cables, and takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to fully charge from an empty battery. If there is still charge left in the case, the earphones will also charge when placed in the case.
◆ I tried pairing it with a smartphone
Now that the device is fully charged, let's try pairing it with a smartphone. The GLIDiC TW-4000P supports
Bring your Bluetooth enabled smartphone and earphone case close together and remove the left and right earphones from the case. When you remove the earphones, they will automatically enter pairing mode and the LED lights on the earphones will start flashing red and white.
If your smartphone supports 'Fast Pair', the pairing setting screen with 'GLIDiC mameBuds' will be displayed after a few seconds. Tap 'Connect' to complete pairing.
Next, I will try pairing it with an iPhone 13 Pro equipped with iOS.
Just like when pairing with an Android smartphone, bring the case close to the iPhone with Bluetooth turned on and remove the left and right earphones. The device will then automatically enter pairing mode.
Open the Bluetooth connection settings on your iPhone and select 'GLIDiC mameBuds' under 'Other devices.'
Pairing is now complete.
◆I actually tried it
The 'GLIDiC TW-4000P' should be attached with the part with the charging terminal facing up and the part with the speaker facing down.
This is what it looks like when you put it in your ear. It fits snugly in the recess of your ear and is stable, and the protrusion to the outside is quite modest. It is very light to wear and barely feels strange in your ears.
When viewed from the front, the protrusion was barely noticeable.
As a test, I tried lying face down on a soft cushion with my ears facing down, and even at an angle that would normally hurt my ears with regular earphones, I didn't notice it at all. Of course, if I put my ears tightly against a hard desk or something, it does hurt, but it's perfect for enjoying music and videos while lying down in bed.
The color jacket covering the 'GLIDiC TW-4000P' is removable and can be replaced with the included yellow or light brown color in addition to the black that comes pre-installed.

When listening to music with the GLIDiC TW-4000P, the bass is not very prominent, so some people who like it may find it unsatisfying, but the mid- to high-pitched tones are well-balanced and easy to listen to. It all depends on personal preference, but some people may prefer these to regular earphones. Also, because they are open-type earphones that do not completely cover the ears, I thought that sound would leak more easily than regular earphones, but surprisingly, there was almost no sound leakage to the surroundings even at high volumes. Because you can hear outside sounds moderately, it is easy to understand the situation around you while playing music close to your ears, and these earphones are recommended for listening to music while traveling or with other people, rather than for immersing yourself in music.
