I tried using 'Vantage', a service that checks AWS charges for free and finds waste

AWS , Amazon's cloud service, is composed of a huge number of complex services such as computing, databases, and storage, and although it is excellent in that you can prepare what you need when you need it, you have been using it for a long time. As it goes on, it becomes more and more difficult to grasp the whole picture, and it tends to be difficult to check if there is any wasteful spending. Therefore, I tried to check which cost can be reduced by using 'Vantage ', a service that automatically analyzes AWS usage data and displays items that are likely to reduce spending.
Vantage --Manage Your Cloud Costs

Go to the Vantage site and click 'Get Started for Free'.

Enter your Name, Account Name, Email Address, and Password to authenticate your reCAPTCHA and click Create an Accout.

An email will be sent to the email address you entered, so click 'Confirm my Vantage account'.

You will be asked what you will use Vantage for. This time I want to analyze AWS costs, so click 'Understand my costs'.

Click 'Connect Vantage to AWS' to connect with AWS.

The Vantage site is waiting for a connection. After waiting for a while ...

The connection was successful, and the services in use on AWS are displayed in a list. Click 'Continue'.

Clicking on 'Recommendations' in the upper left shows the total amount of spending that could be reduced and what percentage of the total amount. In addition, a table organized by service is also displayed, and you can check more detailed contents by clicking 'View Resources'.

For example, if you look at the details of EBS Volumes, you can see which Volume is likely to be reduced and how much it can be reduced in dollars.

Those that have completed the correspondence can be deleted from the table by clicking the archive button on the far right.

You can check the archived ones on the 'Archived' tab.

Vantage is a great tool for finding reducible spending, as it's pretty hard to get a good breakdown of AWS charges. If the AWS usage fee is up to $ 2,500 (about 270,000 yen) per month, you can analyze it for free, but if it is from $ 2,500 to $ 7,500 (about 820,000 yen), the Pro plan, from $ 7,500 to 20,000 If you want to buy up to $ 2.2 million, you need to subscribe to the Business plan. The Pro plan costs $ 30 per month (about 3300 yen) and the Business plan costs $ 200 per month (about 22,000 yen).
