The flying dildo was attacked by Sheriff Manuel Gonzalez, who was running for mayor of Albuquerque. The incident occurred while Gonzalez was on stage and answering questions. The actual video can be viewed at the link below, and the flying dildo arrives at around 4 minutes and 21 seconds .

As Gonzalez was answering a question on stage, a drone equipped with a dildo approached from above, making a buzzing noise.

The venue manager caught the dildo.
Immediately afterwards, a man believed to be the culprit burst in to try to retrieve the drone.
The man was apprehended and taken away.
The man, Kaelan Ashby Dreyer, is 20 years old and is accused of resisting, evading or obstructing a police officer, as well as misdemeanor assault, for allegedly punching Gonzalez while he was being arrested.
Gonzalez, who blamed the drone for being an assassin sent by incumbent mayoral candidate Tim Keller, said the noise from the drone distracted him and made it difficult for him to answer questions.
In response, Keller's campaign denied the allegations, issuing a statement saying, 'This is clearly disruptive, disrespectful and immature behavior. We condemn this despicable behavior and urge citizens to participate respectfully in the political process.' Meanwhile, Dreyer also denied the Keller campaign's involvement, reporting, 'I'm not a fan of Tim Keller. I consider myself a libertarian .'
