The basic bill to digitize all open data of the government passes through the Senate of the Congress and is expected to be enforced as a law

On 22nd December 2018, the Senate of the US Congress approved HR 4174 "Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act of 2017 (maintenance for the 2017 Evidence-Based Policymaking Act)." Furthermore, on December 22, the Senate of the United States Congress passed the House of Representatives and passed HR 4174 amendment . If HR 4174 passed by both houses is approved by the president's signature, the Open Government Data Act passed in 2017 will be enacted as a law.
