According to the official website of Toyosato Town Hall in Shiga Prefecture, there have been some visitors and users of the old Toyosato Elementary School buildings recently who have been seen behaving badly.
Specifically, the auditorium's broadcasting equipment and piano have been used without permission, and graffiti has been left behind, and the school is considering closing the auditorium if such violations of etiquette continue.
The former school buildings are of historical value and were designed by William Merrell Vories , the architect who also designed the Keimeikan and Amherst Hall buildings on the Imadegawa Campus of Doshisha University, which are registered as tangible cultural properties of Japan, and the Nishinomiya-Uegahara Campus of Kwansei Gakuin University.

The old Toyosato Elementary School building has been hit hard by a series of misfortunes, including a broken window in November that resulted in the theft of two briefcase safes, approximately 20 figurines donated by 'K-ON!' fans, and three guitars . However, to ensure that fans can continue to visit the building in peace, each and every visitor should be mindful of proper etiquette.
